Announcing the Autumn - Winter Book Sense Reading Group Picks

Stores with Book Sense will be receiving the Autumn - Winter 2007/2008 Book Sense Reading Group Picks list in the October Red Box mailing; however, the full list, with bookseller quotes, can be previewed online now.

With the publication of the Autumn - Winter list, there are now two Book Sense Reading Group lists produced annually. The Reading Group Picks -- launched at the suggestion of independent booksellers in the Book Sense program -- continues as one of the most popular lists of the year.

Each year, the American Booksellers Association receives the most requests for additional copies of the Reading Group Picks from booksellers, who use the list in a number of ways -- from handouts at author events and special reading group nights to making it a part of in-store display. The list showcases many strong paperback titles and extends the reach of Book Sense and independent booksellers' selections into a store's backlist.
