October Notables Fliers & Shelf-talkers Now Available

The October 2007 Book Sense Notables flier is now available in a downloadable PDF on BookWeb.org. The flier includes jacket images, bibliographic information, and bookseller quotes. In addition, all 20 Notables titles are also featured in an electronic file of shelf-talkers for in-store use.

The October Notables list features 13 new fiction titles, including the third installment of the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay (Dexter and the Devil, Doubleday), as well as new fiction from Joseph O'Connor (Redemption Falls, Free Press) and Edmund White (Hotel de Dream, Ecco). Among the nonfiction Notables this month are The Day of Battle: The War in Sicily and Italy, 1943 - 1944 (Holt).

Looking ahead, the deadline for the December Book Sense Picks List is Friday, October 5, and the deadline for the upcoming Winter Book Sense Picks Children's List is Friday, October 12.
