CHILDREN'S BOOK SPECIALIST: The Toadstool Bookshop in Keene, New Hampshire
is seeking a person with deep passion for and broad knowledge of children's
books to oversee and promote this vital area of our business. Responsibilities
of this position will include buying all new, frontlist juvenile titles, creating
effective displays, coordinating in-store events, working closely with schools
and libraries, and, in general, serving as an energetic promoter of children's

floor sharing your expertise with the public, helping people find the books
they are looking for, as well as shelving and displaying books. The ideal
candidate will have some experience buying and selling children's books in
a retail environment, but enthusiasm and knowledge will trump experience.
We're really looking for the right person; someone who will regard this position
as both a job and a calling. This is a full-time position and will involve
working one weekend day, probably Saturday, and one evening each week. The
salary is competitive and benefits include health and dental insurance. You
may pick up an application in the store or apply in writing to the attention
of Jeff Smull at the address below or at jeff@ktoad.com.
No phone calls, please.
