Doing the ABA Author Lunch?

April 23, 2008

Booksellers at stores with Book Sense who would like to attend this year's ABA Author Luncheon at BookExpo America must make reservations via an electronic form on BookWeb.org. The event, on Friday, May 30, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, is free and open exclusively to the owners and staff at stores with Book Sense.

The lunch brings together booksellers and dozens of authors whose books they have made past or present Book Sense Picks. The winners of this year's Book Sense Book of the Year Awards and Honor Books are also invited to attend.

Reservations are limited to two people per bookstore, and seating is limited. Booksellers who would like to attend should make reservations as soon as possible. (This luncheon is not part of the general BEA registration form; the lunch event on the BEA registration form is the Thursday Day of Education Lunch.)

Questions regarding the ABA Author Luncheon should be addressed to ABA Senior Director of Publisher Initiatives, Mark Nichols, at mark@bookweb.org.
