Outwrite Provides Transportation for Early Voters

Noting that "it's everyone's civic duty to get out there and vote" and "this year's election is especially critical," Atlanta's Outwrite Bookstore and Coffeehouse is providing transportation for early voters who want help getting to the polls.

Special volunteer activist Floyd Taylor will be making the rounds from Outwrite to the Fulton County Courthouse three times a day on Friday, October 24, and Monday through Friday, October 27 - 31, according to the latest edition of the store newsletter.

The bookstore is directing customers with questions to contact Taylor directly.

Sausalito's Habitat Books Plans Move to New Downtown Location

Habitat Books, currently on Second Street in Sausalito, California, is moving to a new location in the center of the city's downtown. Habitat owner Sharon Jones, who a while ago had placed a classified ad in BTW announcing the store was up for sale, has instead decided to move the business to a more prominent location in the downtown, where it will attract more foot traffic and the tourist trade.

As of November 1, Habitat Books will be located at 803 Bridgeway, next to the Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa in the center of downtown Sausalito.
