Fall Workshop on Opening a Bookstore
The Bookstore Training Group of Paz & Associates will be conducting an intensive workshop -- Opening a Bookstore: The Business Essentials -- from Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18, on Amelia Island (near Jacksonville, Florida). The program, aimed at anyone interested in learning about owning and operating a bookstore, will cover key topics, including start-up costs, strategies for profitability, computerized management systems, inventory selection, and more.
The workshop, facilitated by Donna Paz Kaufman and Mark Kaufman of Paz & Associates, is co-sponsored by the American Booksellers Association. ABA Provisional members receive a $100 discount on tuition.
