IBF Calendar Photo Deadline Monday

American Booksellers Association members may submit bookstore photos for consideration by The International Booksellers Federation for the 2009 People in Bookshops calendar via the Bookstore Photo Gallery Forum on BookWeb.org. The deadline for photo submissions is now Monday, January 28.

Photos can also be sent on a CD to ABA, Attn.: Jill Perlstein, 200 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY 10591. Photos should not be sent via e-mail.

The calendar, which will be available in the spring of 2008, will be sold at the London and Frankfurt book fairs, at the European Booksellers Federation/International Booksellers Federation Conference in Amsterdam, and via orders to IBF.

Photos must be submitted in a TIFF or JPG format; 250 DPI -- 2953 x 2953 pixels. Submissions not meeting these technical requirements will be eliminated automatically. Photos of people in bookshops, interiors, and exteriors are welcome. A maximum of two photos per store is permitted. Submissions should include the name of the bookstore, the full address, photo credit, and contact details (name, e-mail, and phone number).
